VIVA! is thrilled to contribute to the 8th edition of the Alternative Art Fair of Sudbury (FAAS)!
This year, the GNO will close Larch Street between Durham and Elgin for a week of site-specific art focused on the theme of chance. Big buses, flatbeds, trucks, cars, wrecks… the vehicles will serve as a canvas to convey multiple perspectives. By bringing artistic experimentation directly into shared urban spaces, FAAS 8 reimagines everyday infrastructure as a place of connection, curiosity and collective imagination.

As our contribution, VIVA! has invited Kristel Tremblay (Québec City), to present an action at the FAAS. Dynamic, provocative, and festive, her performances draw from pop culture and regional traditions, where collective rituals are marked by playfulness and danger. As an emerging artist, this will be her first performance outside of Québec.
